The Story So Far.....

Starting in Eberdeen

Once upon a time there was a Soft and Pretty called MA.
She had a twinkley laugh, two big eyes, one Canny Grower called Pierce, one Dancy Mother called Margaret, and a Bloomy Dreamer called Elaine.

Enter  A High and Whirly
One brightening, while tickling the bunnies, she came across a High and Whirly called Ptoly.  As soon as Ptoly High and Whirly saw the Soft and Pretty called MA he knew that his cabbage was totally cooked.
MASoft and Pretty and Ptoly High and Whirly had a joining.

They moved in together and lived rakishly for many years. They travelled the yird and met many other friendly Highs, Shinys, Smalls, Softs and others. But the most important thing they did was to make a Silkie and Glossy called Vicky and a Cantie and Lillie called Emma.

Leaving the Hatch
As time danced, the Silkie and Glossy called Vickie and the Cantie and Lillie called Emma grew and grew till they got too big to fit into the hatch belonging to the Soft and Pretty and the High and Whirly. (Do not cry dear friend, for this is what happens to all when time dances).
Peepers Pop
One night, when the Silkie and Glossy called Vickie was out for a bound, she fell across a Strong and Glazie called Colin. The Strong and Glazie’s peepers popped when he saw the Smooth and Glossy. He popped them back and glowed towards her.

Soon they shone the night out together; dancing with time and the moon and leaping the clouds till they decided they wanted a joining of their own.

Then the Strong and Glazie called Colin had to visit the lands over the Kyber. There his tasks were many and while time danced, he and his fellow Strongs bearded the den of the Black Cloud. Their time was successful and they came back safely to the great cheer of all.

While he was away, for a daybright and a daybright, and many days after that, the Soft and Pretty and the Silkie and Glossy, with the help of the High and Whirly and the Cantie and Lillie along with many others, nibbled and knobbled, kibbled and cobbled until all was ready and time had danced to the flowery warm.

The Gathering
There on the chosen daybright in the mythical land over the Wall of Corn, gathered the gathering. There were the Soft and Pretty, the High and Whirly and his brother the Salt Sea Diver. There also was the Soft and Pretty’s Canny Grower Pierce, her Dancy Mother Margaret, and her Bloomy Dreamer Elaine. Gathering with the Bloomy Dreamer was her Kilt and Quilty Arthur and her Painted Finely, Ross.

Gathered also were the Strong and Glazie’s Couthie and Gentle Ann, his Swankie and Upricht Jim and his Abbey Glow and Twirly, a funny bunny loosey-shoesy girly.

Also on that daybright came dear Softs known and loved by the Silky and Glossy called Vickie and many Gritty Strappings known and united to the Strong and Glazie called Colin.
Also there gathered some Old and Dusties known since almost the beginning of the dance of time to the Soft and Pretty and the High and Whirly.

The engaged brightening was a gaily gig, all chuckle and tears. First down the golden staircase, glowing came the Cantie and Lillie called Emma, on the arm of the Best Tall and Gritty.

Next down the golden staircase sparkled the Small and Glittery, and in her hand she held the tiny clasp of the First Best Fairy, Abbey Glow and Twirley, a funny bunny loosey-shoesy girly.

Finally glimmering down the golden staircase to ear-stroking tones shimmered the Silkie and Glossy; the most Beautiful White Silkie and Glossy ever seen in that place. One Old and Dusty sobbed till he melted and all agreed it was the nicest Joining they had ever been to.

The Vows
Later, when the Silkie and Glossy and the Strong and Glazie had told each other their vows (and all such vows are very sacred as you know, dear reader, so we will not despoil them by repeating them), all and everyone tickled the bunnies, goggled the ponies and supped on the goldberries and cream.

Then there was a great deal of merriment and laughter on the greening sward as all glowed and happied. The melted Old and Dusty sobbed and melted a little again and was wiped up gently.

The Feast
Later all sat and feasted on the wonderful feast planned by the Soft and Pretty. Truly they had never had such a mouth stroking feast before and all cheered and laughed.

Afterwards three penguins played songs they all knew and everyone danced.  And they all lived happily ever after.
